After long last, Lionhead has returned to the PC. And there was much rejoicing. Today Fable Anniversary has released on Steam featuring upgraded graphics from the Xbox 360 edition as well as official modding support (which we're pretty chuffed about, to be honest).

When we're not staying up to date on all things Lionhead, we occasionally cast some wayward glances at Project Spark, an Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows 8 'game maker' that was announced during E3 2013. The beta for Project Spark's been going on for a bit now and a few months ago a dedicated Fable fan decided to remake the entirety of Fable's Oakvale in Project Spark and we gotta say, it's pretty darn impressive. With Fable Anniversary PC having just been announced, we thought it might be a good time to show an extended and unedited look at this awesome creation, as well as a brief interview with Neil Smith, the creator!

Just two days ago, Lionhead responded to the numerous fan requests by releasing a teaser trailer for Fable Anniversary on the PC. They decided to give us a bit more information than meets the eye, hiding an Easter egg right in the middle of the video. This egg comes in the form of a binary code, and holds some valuable information. When we translated it, this is what we found.

Here we go again! Christmas for gamers. The Superbowl of the industry. The shark week of games. What's more is we'll be heading there again this year! Although we've been a bit quiet here at The Dead Hamster recently, that's because we've been busy scheming and plotting. That includes E3 2014 plans, new staff members, polishing off new site content, and ramping up for let's plays and podcasts.
